WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2017 by Rick Jacobs and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Accelerator for America finds and develops solutions to economic insecurity and shares them with cities to create national change from the ground up. We are led by an Advisory Council comprising mayors, labor leaders, corporate CEOs and non-profit executives from across the country, and our work is driven by an exceptional staff.
We are the R&D arm of cities & mayors. We are a do tank, not a think tank.
